Protect Oregon Watersheds, Stop-The-Spray, and Lincoln County Community Rights are very concerned about the number of NOAPs being filed with the Oregon Department of Forestry.  And we want to meet with the community to discuss the immediate issues because the frequency has dramatically increased this Spring.  

For example NOAPS (notices) have been filed stating:

• Area around Ona Beach has or will be sprayed.
• Area around Lost Creek has or will be sprayed.
• Area around Yachats has or will be sprayed by drone
• CURRENTLY, the area surrounding Waldport community’s water source – proposed spray starting July 16th.
• CURRENTLY, a proposal has been filed by the US Forest Service to amend the Siuslaw Forest Plan to allow more herbicides to be used to control invasive weed species, including the use of aerial spraying by drones.
